The report was signed by Representatives James (Chair), Kott, and Smalley; and Senators Halford (Chair), Miller, and Adams. The following fiscal note applies: Senate fiscal note, Office of the Governor, 1/23/00 Representative Green moved that the House adopt the Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report, thus adopting CCS SJR 34 and recommended that the members vote yes. The roll was taken with the following result: CCS SJR 34 Adopt Conference Committee Report YEAS: 29 NAYS: 4 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 7 Yeas: Austerman, Barnes, Bunde, Coghill, Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, James, Kerttula, Kohring, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Moses, Mulder, Murkowski, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Smalley, Therriault, Whitaker, Williams Nays: Brice, Cissna, Croft, Kemplen Absent: Berkowitz, Davies, Grussendorf, Joule, Kapsner, Kookesh, Sanders Williams changed from "Nay" to "Yea". And so, the House adopted the Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report, thus adopting: CONFERENCE CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 34 Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Alaska relating to public corporations. The Senate has adopted the Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report (Senate journal page 3669). The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate.
